Infrared Sauna Detox
Video
Your body already knows how to cleanse itself. That work belongs to your liver and kidneys. What an infrared sauna adds is a deep, productive sweat at comfortable temperatures, which supports circulation, clears your head, and leaves you feeling reset in a way a shower never quite manages. That feeling is why detox sessions are among the most rebooked at our Franklin studio.
But don't just take our word for it. Here's what our clients have to say about their experiences with infrared sauna detoxification:

I had a great experience at sēk! The staff were friendly and helpful, but most importantly the sauna was hot and helped relieve a lot of stress and tension. — David

Sēk has an absolutely beautiful atmosphere, incredible services, and exceptional staff. Sauna and cold plunge have become a steady part of my routine. — Bradley
Here is what actually happens during a detox session, based on research rather than hype:

What the Sweat Actually Does Infrared light warms the body directly, producing a heavier sweat at lower air temperatures than a traditional sauna. Small studies have detected trace environmental compounds in sweat, and researchers continue to explore what that means. What is well established is simpler: a deep sweat session increases circulation, relaxes muscles, and reliably delivers the lighter, clearer feeling our clients describe when they say they feel detoxed. We will take the honest version of that claim every time. Comfortable Heat, Low EMF Our saunas reach a deep sweat gently, without the lung-searing air of a traditional hot room, and are built with low EMF technology. Sessions are private, in your own suite, with towels included. A shared shower is available on site if you need it, though we recommend waiting at least an hour after your session so your pores stay open and the process finishes on its own.
